
Pan-Pan Gou 郭盼盼 is a sound designer and composer whose work range from theater, film to games. Currently studying sound design at Carnegie Mellon University as a graduate, she is involved in many theatrical productions as well as projects outside of the drama department. She is currently working on a VR project with the CMU Entertainment Technology Center as the lead sound designer.
She held a bachelor degree in Drama, Sound Design and Music, Vocal Performance at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Besides working on multiple productions with UCI's drama department, she also engages in freelance composition such as independent film "Symptoma 20" and "Duality" by Moon Collective, etc.
Pan-Pan is also a classically trained singer under the guidance of Professor Frances Bennet and Ms. Yea-Lih Chen. She has worked as a professional singer at Taichung Artist Chamber Choir and working in UCI's opera production of Scarlett Letter as Hester Prynne and Mademoiselle Silberklang in Impressario. In addition to working as a freelance composer/singer, Pan-Pan also work as the choir director for National Experimental High School (NEHS), and a community educator for LA Opera League.
